Christmas week at Darbi College
December 14th - 18th

The week before Darbi college to close its doors for the winter vacation, students and teachers were in process of organizing entertaining events to say goodbye to 2009 and to greet the upcoming holidays.
The first of the Christmas activity was a Jumble Sale for which all Darbi members
(students and teachers) prepared  a diversity of beautiful belongings - from Barbie furniture to French poems  that were sold by auction. Every participant went home with one or even more of their friends' and teachers' goods.
The  week  continue and in the last school day everyone gathered and went to the Church where we held our traditional Charity campaign. Everybody donated toys, clothes and sweets according to their wish.  There we also had the pleasure to enjoy songs performed by children.

In the evening of the same day, students, teachers and staff were invited to a Christmas party organized by Bozjidar ( A2 students), the lovely teacher Liudmila Hristova and Ms Kristina Semkovska who surprised everyone with splendid Christmas decoration and funny activities. One of them was karaoke in which some hidden talents were revealed, as Mr. Shopov - the History teacher who distinguished himself with his rock star abilities. Kiril from A2, Todor  from AS  and the teacher in Maths- Mr Stankov won the prize for the best band.   Who knows may be they are the new Backstreet boys… Thanks to the organizers for the great party who had made much effort to prepare. However they lived and even exceeded everyone's expectations.
Darbi collage experienced one lovely Christmas week and hopes you also enjoyed the holidays! And now when the school began all rested and with new strengths are preparing for the new 2010 year and the accompanying events.
